Andrew McNeil

Managing Director and Founder

Andrew McNeil is founder of Yarmouth Group Holdings and has 35 years of diversified financial services and capital markets experience across banking, real estate investment, corporate and structured finance and private equity. Andrew has represented Australian Financial Licensee fund managers that manage over $4 billion of assets. Since Yarmouth's inception, he has advised on debt and equity transactions totalling over $300 million.

Prior to establishing Yarmouth in 2008, Andrew held senior management positions with Mariner Securities, ASX-listed Mariner American Property Income REIT and William Buck Securities.

His prior experience also includes over six years with Lend Lease in San Francisco, Atlanta and New York working with group companies including Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Equitable Real Estate Yarmouth (ERE Yarmouth) and Yarmouth Property Management.

At Mariner, Andrew was part of the senior management team that managed $1.2 billion of real estate and infrastructure assets including the Mariner American Property Income Trust, a REIT listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Outside of his professional career Andrew is passionate about sport and has been a foundation corporate partner and member of Australian Football League team, the Greater Western Sydney Giants since 2010. He is a former national rowing champion, national record holder and has also been a national team rowing coach on the US, Norwegian and Swiss rowing teams.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University, a Master of International Business from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance with Chartered Secretaries Australia.

He is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Fellow of Governance Institute of Australia. Andrew holds a Fellowship with Chartered Governance Institute UK and is a Chartered Governance Professional with the Institute.

Andrew is also a Director of the board of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia) and is an Honorary Enterprise Fellow of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne.

Sean McNeil

Analyst

Sean completed his secondary school studies at Haileybury in December 2024 and joined Yarmouth as an analyst in January 2025. 

Sean’s role at Yarmouth involves doing financial analysis, equities analysis for SMSF, preparing marketing materials, advising on social media content creation and providing customer service to family office and AFSL clients. 

He has an interest in debt financing and is preparing to launch his own debt finance related business in 2025. Sean is currently completing finance qualifications with Kaplan. Sean is also an Affiliate with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia).

Warren Muller

Principal

Warren Muller has over 30 years of experience in CFO and Financial Controller roles in energy, real estate, infrastructure and funds management sectors. His specialities include acquisitions, divestments, asset management, asset wind downs, restructurings/refinancing and managing sophisticated capital projects.

Prior to working with Yarmouth, Warren held senior management positions with Mariner Financial, Mariner Securities and the Mariner American Property Income REIT.

At Mariner, Warren was part of the senior management team that managed $1.2 billion or real estate and infrastructure assets including the Mariner American Property Income Trust, a REIT listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Warren has extensive experience in corporate governance, strategy, project management, compliance and change management. He is a regular member of audit committees and financial technical advisory teams, and has extensive knowledge and experience of ASIC and ASX compliance and reporting requirements.

He is also a highly successful leader, team manager, mentor, motivator and trainer. He has worked successfully with parties from various levels and sectors in both Australia and South Africa, including employees, company boards, investors, regulatory authorities and banks.

Warren holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, and is a Chartered Accountant with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Matthew Reynolds

Member, Yarmouth Advisory Board

Matthew Reynolds is a Partner of the Australian law firm Thomson Geer and has over 25 years of legal experience. His skills centre on assisting clients with capital raising from early stage private equity through to initial public offerings, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and in mergers and acquisitions. He is a leader of Thomson Geer's Corporate and Commercial Law practice, which provides clients with access to high-level skills in areas that are stringently regulated and highly technical, working on the principles of close working relationships with clients and the essential need to meet specific commercial objectives.

Matthew has extensive industry experience in energy and resources, technology, infrastructure and institutional real estate sectors. He has undertaken a large number of complex projects in which the outcome for clients is critical to their future success. In particular Matthew provides legal advice on off shore capital investments from Asia into debt and equity investment for Australian resource and real estate investments.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Political Science & Economics (Hons) from Harding University, a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University and is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society, Company Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society and a member of AMPLA – the Resources and Energy Law Association.

Arthur L. Buser

Member, Yarmouth Advisory Board

Art Buser has over 30 years of corporate and operations experience specialising in real estate capital transactions and asset and investment management across the United States, Asia and Europe.

Art previously held the role of CEO and President of the New York Stock Exchange-listed Sunstone Hotel Investors following eleven years in a variety of roles at JLL Hotels, most notably as Head of JLLH's US Global Hotel Capital Markets team. He led and coordinated international marketing efforts for inbound and outbound products and capital and focused on capital sourcing from the Middle East and Asia for US transactions for all real estate types. Before that he held a variety of roles at JLL Hotels, personally transacting over US$4 billion of hotel debt and equity and was a global board member of JLL Hotels. He has also worked in various management and operations roles at The Yarmouth Group Inc. and Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Art holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
